Fundraising
Libraries strive to transform communities through access to information, resources, and technology, and you can help support and sustain our efforts at any level, from donating craft supplies, making a financial donation, or volunteering with us. The Silver Lake Library is currently in the process of raising funds for building renovations. We hope to expand and upgrade our facility, so that we can better serve our patrons.
Fundraising efforts are lead by both the Silver Lake Public Library and their Foundation.

Silver Lake History Booklets
In honor of Silver Lake’s Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Library made arrangements to have copies made of Emma Cones Richerter’s history booklet. The booklet is available for sale – $5 per booklet.
Junque Yard & Book Sale
Join us in the fall at the Silver Lake Public Library for our annual Junque Yard Sale and Book Sale. All items are free-will donation. (No clothing accepted) All money raised will go towards the next phase of our building renovation.
If you have items around your home that you would like to get rid of we will be accepting donations prior to the event.
